Artist In Residence
As Artist-in-Residence for Mt. Morris, IL, I led various community art programs, including a children’s summer program called "Summer Voyage" at the local library for grades 1–3. Each child developed a craft passport for the program, getting a stamp after each activity they attending. Participants explored global art traditions through crafts and related history lessons. For example, students created tissue paper "stained glass" while learning about Notre-Dame.
Beyond this program, I designed and implemented art activities for diverse age groups and abilities, including water-color painting sessions with Alzheimer's patients, an interactive paint-by-number mural for high school students, and weekly art activities during the town’s Friday night concerts.
