About Rachel N. Oliver
My art journey started with the belief that success meant becoming a doctor, a dream sparked by my first doctor's play kit. Thus, I pursued a career in psychiatry despite gaining recognition for my realistic portrait skills. However, I quickly realized I needed a creative outlet, leading me to Art Therapy in college.

This shift prompted me to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts alongside a B.S. in Psychology from Augustana College. I continued on the Art Therapy path until the COVID-19 pandemic changed things. After graduating in 2021, I returned to Colorado and, with the rise of remote work, expanded my digital art skills by completing a Graphic Design Certificate from Aims Community College in 2023.

While at Aims, I started working as a Content Manager and Graphic Designer for Anthesis Group, a sustainability consulting firm, where I’m still employed today. Yet, I was still drawn to my true creative passions: painting, drawing, and storytelling. To pursue this, I completed the Concept Art Foundations and Fundamentals course at CG Spectrum in February 2025, further refining my illustration skills. I’m currently working on my first Webtoon, while continuing to develop and write my own stories.
